Caregiver – In-Home Non-Medical Care

Angel’s Journey Homecare, LLC is seeking dedicated and dependable caregivers to join our compassionate team. As a caregiver, you’ll provide essential in-home support tailored to each client’s needs, helping them live safely and comfortably in familiar surroundings. With over 30 years of healthcare experience, our leadership ensures you’ll have the training, resources, and support to deliver the highest standard of care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support

• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed

• Provide transfer assistance and mobility support using proper safety techniques

• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, vacuuming, and organizing living spaces

• Escort clients to medical appointments, errands, and social activities

• Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering meaningful connections

• Administer medication reminders as directed by the care plan

• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health, including vital signs

• Support clients with exercise and wellness activities

• Provide respite care to relieve family caregivers

• Deliver care in accordance with established personalized care plans

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred, but willing to train compassionate individuals

• Ability to lift, move, and assist clients safely

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient demeanor

• Ability to work independently and follow care plans

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willing to obtain)

Schedule & Availability

• Full-time, part-time, and flexible schedules available

• Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
